Erin Blaisdell, Editor, Between skating the Burton bowl, snowboarding, sending telepathic messages to her twin sister in Massachusetts, surprising her family with new tattoos or adventuring with her dogs, you can find Erin hunkered down at the White Flag Sales office in Burlington, Vermont as their Marketing and Events Coordinator, representing Burton, Anon, Analog and MIZU in the North East.
Cassandra Madsen, Contributor, a Virgo originally from New Jersey, landed herself in Vermont a little over ten years ago. Only leaving for a short stint to Brooklyn, she has called Burlington her home since she made it back to the “center of the universe” in 2010. Casi spends the majority of her time working as the Burton Softgoods + Bags Sales Rep for New England. When she’s not found on the road or in the shops, she’s usually standing on her hands or on a snowboard. Casi is the editor of EATCREATEMEDITATE.com + co-founder of Constellation, a botanical brand yielding from the state she now calls home. She teaches Vinyasa twice a week at Yoga Vermont + spends whatever time is left over with the rescue horses at Ahimsa Farms. Casi lives a happy life that she loves very, very much. Oh + she absolutely adores PIZZA.
Bekah Ashley, Contributor, A nineteen year old snowboarder, regional rider for White Flag Sales, traveler, writer, and adventurist, Bekah grew up just a few miles from Whiteface Mountain in upstate New York. There, she discovered her love for the snow and the outdoors. She is currently working towards earning her bachelors degree in journalism while traveling between the East and West. She can be found on the lake, eating ice cream, spending time with her mom’s goat, or hanging out with her family in the Adirondacks.
Marissa VanWoeart, Contributor, Working a 9-5 in an office does not work for Marissa. Luckily, her engineer role allows her to work from home in Burlington, VT allowing her flexibility for fine-tuning an epic work-life balance. Unsatisfied as a weekend warrior, Marissa capitalizes on plenty of morning snowboard sessions. Between snowboarding and working, Marissa teaches and practices yoga multiple times a week at Burlington Yoga.
Hailey Ronconi, Contributor, Currently, Hailey is balancing snowboarding and skateboarding as much as possible while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Marketing at the University of Vermont where she is in the glorified Honors College- nerd. You can find her spending time planning events for the UVM Ski and Snowboard Club, volunteering on the Burton Snowboards Chill Burlington advisory committee and just getting weird. Originally from Hudson Valley, New York, Hailey took her first turns in the Catskills where she became a shred gypsy. You’ll never catch her without a smile on her face because she’s always SO STOKED. You may even catch her consuming her favorite snacks, Chobani and Chia seeds.
Ashley Rosemeyer, Contributor, Snowboard photographer Ashley Rosemeyer is a Pittsburgh, Pa transplant currently living that cabin life in the backwoods of Vermont. Her photos have appeared in the pages of Focus Skate Magazine, Steez, Step Dad, BL!SSS and Rare Breed, among others. When she isn’t photographing riders on the streets and in the snow, you can find her on her snowboard cruising to some old school hip hop or cracking some jokes around a campfire with a good brew. In 2012, She earned a BFA in Photography from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She aims to bring good vibes and determination while collaborating with NEWomenSnow, and White Flag; as well as into her newest role as this season’s terrain park photographer for Sugarbush Parks. Britt Horowitz, Contributor, Burlington, VT has been home to the 23 year old snowboarder Britt Horowitz for the past 5 years. There she has earned a bachelor’s degree in business at UVM, co-founded the all-girl crew Mascara Militia, and co-hosted a series of all-girl snowboard events to help promote women’s progression. You can find her hiking rails at Sugarbush Parks, floating nearly every rail jam on the east coast, flying solo between Portland, Tahoe, & Burlington, VT and searching for that perfect van to live in with the right person.
